How It Works
Even if it's your first time renting a kimono, rest assured. We explain the entire process from online booking to kimono return.
Step 1
Reservation
Enter your reservation details on the reservation page. Once the deposit payment (credit card only) is completed, you will receive a confirmation email along with your credit card transaction details.
Step 2
Select a Kimono
Please arrive at the store at your reserved time. When you arrive, provide the representative’s name and your reserved time. Choose a kimono from the available plans. After changing into your undergarments, a professional dresser will assist you in putting on the kimono, and your selected hair styling and makeup options will be provided in the dressing room.
Step 3
Payment Confirmation
Once you have decided on your preferred kimono, please inform the reception counter of your chosen plan and options. After the payment is completed, you will be guided to the dressing room.
Step 4
Luggage Storage
There are lockers (or Boston bags provided) in the dressing room. Please change into the designated undergarments and store your clothes and personal belongings in the locker or Boston bag. Please keep the locker key or number tag with you.
Step 5
Kimono Dressing
After changing into your undergarments, a professional dresser will help you put on your kimono. The selected hair styling and makeup options will also be provided in the dressing room.
Step 6
Accessory Selection
Once your kimono dressing and hair styling are complete, please place your chosen accessories into the bag you selected. Umbrellas for photo shoots and folding fans are available for free rental. If needed, please request them at the counter. In winter, hand warmers and fans are also provided free of charge.
Step 7
Time to Go Out
Once your look is finalized, it’s time to head out! Don’t forget to take plenty of photos with your family and friends at shrines and temples.
Step 8
Kimono Return
Please return your kimono by 5:00 PM on the day of rental. If you need to return it the next day, please inform the staff in advance, pay any applicable extension fee and deposit, and return it by 11:00 AM the following day.
